The MAF Training Challenge

It has been a bit now since I gave the Maffetone method a try.  While I have no desire to go back to this approach, it does draw my attention to one form of training that I might want to spend more time focusing on:  Low aerobic workouts.

I get in between three and five runs a week depending on how my body feels.  Most are considered "high aerobic efforts".  There is no doubt that in order to improve fitness, mixing the aerobic output is a crucial consideration for building capacity and promoting physiologic adaptation to running.
